Dec 01, Kuala Lumpur: Sri Lanka's motor-race champion Dilantha Malagamuwa placed first at the qualifying round of the Malaysian Super Series 2007 championship held at Sepang Formula One circuit Kuala Lumpur today. He could beat 17 competitors with a record performance of 1 minute and 74 seconds for a lap.
With this achievement Dilantha got the opportunity to place his car ahead over others in coming race. The defending champion says he is confident to retain his title provided that no technical faults come up in his vehicle.
